Dora June “DJ” Kephart, 63, Raymore, Mo., passed away Jan. 23, 2016.
Dora was born Feb. 14, 1952, in Bowling Green, Ky., to Marvin and Dora Gaddie.
She is survived by a brother, Steve Gaddie of Prathersville, Mo.; sisters, Joyce Thayer of Kansas City, Mo., and Margie Blankenship of Excelsior Springs, Mo.; daughter, Tiffany Bell of Raymore, Mo.; and grandson, Raef Bell, also of Raymore; as well as six nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held from 10 to 11 a.m. Wednesday, Jan. 27, at Bross & Spidle Funeral Home, Excelsior Springs, Mo., followed by graveside service at Hillcrest Cemetery, Excelsior Springs, Mo. Arrangements are through Bross & Spidle Funeral Home, 816-630-3131.
The family suggests that in lieu of flowers, contributions be made to The Alzheimer’s Association.
