John Lusco

John L. Lusco, 72, of Excelsior Springs, Mo., passed away at 1 p.m. Monday, July 13, 2015.

John was born in West Lebanon, N.H., on Jan. 26, 1943. He was the son of Millard and Fern Mills Lusco.  John served in the Navy from 1961-65. He was a member of the American Legion and F.O.E., Aerie #3917.  John was an avid bowler. He worked for Clorox Co. in Kansas City for 28 years; after retirement he worked at American-Wilson (Gibraltar) for 13 years.

He was preceded in death by his parents and son, Jeffrey Scott Lusco.

John married Eileen Honney on March 28, 1963; she survives. They had two children, Jeffrey Scott Lusco and Janet Lee Lusco; six grandchildren and two great-grandchildren; two brothers, “Buddy” Sawyer and Walter Lusco; sister, Linda Dion; and several sisters-in-law and brothers-in-law, nieces and nephews. He will be sadly missed by many friends and his family.

Memorial services will be held at 3 p.m. Sunday, July 19, at the Fraternal Order of Eagles, Aerie #3917, 14305 Hwy. Y, Excelsior Springs, Mo.  Arrangements are through  Cremation Society of KS & MO, 5561 NW  Barry Rd., 816-822-9888. Online condolences may be left at www.kccremation.com.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the American Diabetes  Association.
