Milton Wendell Bratton Sr.
January 29, 1940—November 25, 2018
Milton Wendell Bratton Sr. was born Jan. 29, 1940 to Milton and Beatrice Bratton.
Milton attended and graduated from Excelsior Springs High School. Milton was a member of Main Street Baptist Church under the leadership of W.R Palmer. Milton was married in 1960 to Nina Bratton (Vertreese) and to this union three children were born: Mignon, Milton Jr. and Brian. Milton was a chef for many years at several restaurants and he retired from Kearney, Missouri.
He was preceded in death by both parents and one brother, Virgil Bratton.
He leaves to cherish his memories: Mignon Slaughter of Kansas City, Missouri, Brian Bratton of Kansas City, Missouri, and Milton Bratton Jr. of the Netherlands; five grandchildren: Keisha Stinson (Robert), Brandon Ersery, Dominique Brockington, Michele Freemon and Karla Whitish; seven great-grandchildren; one sister, Doris Taylor; a host of nieces, nephews and cousins; as well as close friends.
Memorial visitation will be held from 1-3 p.m., Saturday, Dec. 8, 2018, at Bross & Spidle Funeral Home, in Excelsior Springs, Missouri.
