Juanita Marie Holtzclaw
May 9, 1947—January 26, 2018 

Juanita Marie Holtzclaw, 70, of Excelsior Springs, Mo., died on Friday, Jan. 26, 2018 at her home surrounded by her loving family.

Juanita was born on May 9, 1947 in Clay County, Mo., the daughter of James J. and Leota G. Stevenson. Juanita was united in marriage to Anthony “Tony” Holtzclaw on July 16, 1982.

Juanita was a homemaker and lived in the Excelsior Springs area since 1982. She was of the Christian faith. She loved to cook, sing karaoke, camping, fishing, thrift store and garage sale shopping. She especially loved her family and her many friends.

Survivors include her husband, Anthony “Tony” Holtzclaw of the home; two sons, Ralph R. Renouf and Tim M. Renouf both of Excelsior Springs; two daughters, Angela Holtzclaw and Tina Giles both of Excelsior Springs; two brothers, James C. Stevenson, of North Carolina and John T. Stevenson, of Excelsior Springs; one sister Linda F. Stevenson of Excelsior Springs; two step children, Anthony Holtzclaw, Jr., of Lincoln, Mo. and Netta Smith of Kansas City, Mo.; 8 grandchildren, 2 great-grandchildren, 5 step grandchildren and 3 step great-grandchildren.

In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by two brothers, Phillip R. and Kenneth L. Stevenson; two sisters, Margaret D. Curtis and Pearl E. Stevenson and one great-granddaughter, Jasmine M. Dominis.

The family suggests memorial contributions be made to the Juanita Marie Holtzclaw Memorial Fund.

Memorial services will be held at 7:30 p.m., Wednesday, Jan. 31, at Thurman Funeral Home in Richmond, Mo. Visitation will be one hour prior to services, starting at 6:30 p.m. at the funeral home. Inurnment will be at a later date.
